NEW DELHI, INDIA - AUGUST 26: Delhi police personnel check vehicles at Shanti Ban Ring road, a day after 31 people died and over 250 were injured in rioting triggered by the conviction of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in a rape case, on August 26, 2017 in New Delhi, India. A special CBI court had on Friday declared self-styled godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh of raping and sexually exploiting two disciples. Violence also spread to Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad with empty buses and train coaches set on fire allegedly by Dera supporters. Section 144 was imposed in several parts of Haryana and Delhi.
