Playback Singer Hariharan Attend Ganesh Festival In Pune

PUNE, INDIA - JULY 25: Indian playback singer Hariharan performs puja of instruments of many dhol tasha troupes ahead of Ganesh festival at Yashwantrao Chavan auditorium on July 25, 2017 in Pune, India. Dhol tasha is a tradition that Pune prides itself on and all festivals celebrated in the city would be incomplete without the sound of these booming drums. It was educationist Appaji Pendse who popularised the tradition of playing the dhol amongst the city’s youth in 1962 and every year, it grew to be the most important instrument of cheer at every Ganesh pandal.
