Eight Ghaziabad Cops Suspended Over Custodial Death

GHAZIABAD, INDIA - JULY 22: The officials on Saturday suspended eight personnel of Sahibabad police station after they allegedly cremated a 24 year old man (Mandeep Negi) as unidentified, on July 13, on July 22, 2017 in Ghaziabad, India. Mandeep Singh Negi was nabbed by locals on July 9 on suspicion of theft was later handed over to the police. The suspended staffs have been identified as Inspector Sudhir Tyagi, Sub Inspectors Akhilesh Gaur, Neeraj Kumar Tyagi, Gajendra Singh, Atul Kumar and constables Prem Singh, Rahul and Sanjiv.
