Seven Tourists Killed In Gulmarg Gondola Crash

SRINAGAR, INDIA - JUNE 25: Trap tourists exit the Gulmarg boarding station, on June 25, 2017 in Srinagar, India.. A family from Delhi and a local tourist guide were among seven people killed in Gulmarg on Sunday when a ropeway car plummeted to the ground after its cable snapped. The accident left scores of tourists stranded at the popular skiing destination in north Kashmir, 50 km from state capital Srinagar. The Gulmarg Gondola is among key tourist attractions in a region known as one of Asias best ski resorts. The service is one of the highest and longest cable-based lift services in the continent.
