MUMBAI, INDIA- MARCH 28: A man dressed in traditional attire watch the procession celebrating 'Gudhi Padwa' or the Maharashtrian New Year from his balcony at Girgaum, on March 28 2017 in Mumbai, India. Gudhi Padva is a spring-time festival that marks the traditional New Year for Marathi Hindus. It is celebrated in and near Maharashtra on the first day of the Chaitra month to mark the beginning of the New Year according to the lunisolar Hindu calendar.
